Wide Bay Burnett Regional Economic Development Growth Forum

On 6 October WBBROC once again partnered with the Department of State Development and the Regional Development Australia (Wide Bay Burnett) to host the 3rd Annual Regional Economic Development Growth Forum in Maryborough. With over 160 attendees the 2016 forum once again reinforced the desire for this event to be held.  Martin Barrett, Managing Director, Auswide Bank offered the following comment after attending the forum:

Having attended the Wide Bay Burnett Regional Economic Development Growth Forum in 2016, for the first time, I was surprised by the quality of speakers and the significant relevance to business in the region. The agenda was strong with a wide range of attendees which led to great networking. Pleasingly the forum was strongly supported by a co-operative of regional council leaders that seemed singular and sincere in their commitment to supporting business and growth across the localities. All in all an excellent day that I look forward to attending again in 2017.
